We meet on THE FIRST SATURDAY OF MAY every year to show our support for Hemp & Cannabis.
MAY 5, 2012 is the date for our next march.
We will gather on the corner of QUEEN & DIVISION @ FRANKLIN PARK. There we will stand along the street allowing all of Spokane to see our love and support for our beliefs. Our goal is also to show that YOU DON'T HAVE TO SMOKE IT TO SUPPORT IT.
This year we will have a massive drum circle during and after the March. Anyone who has a drum or wants to drum is encouraged to come. Bring ANY acoustic instrument you have to make it a wonderful jam session.
For years marijuana has carried a stigma of disastrous proportions and it is up to THE NOW GENERATION to step up and fix things.
We ask all those who attend to make/carry signs showing your feelings (nicely) to our fair city. We also ask you bring your drums, guitars, and any acoustic jam based instrument so we can boogie in style.
POSITIVE VIBES ARE A MUST!!!! If you don't have any, borrow some! Bring everyone you know including your kids. This is a family event and we do not encourage public use of cannabis. We are gathering to initiate change not poke the hornets nest.
